To construct this look I patterned a bodice out of dance mesh,
and ruched 3 yards of chiffon to form the skirt. I then draped
the over skirt in 3 pleats to join at the center front of the skirt.
When draping the bodice my aim was to evoke liquid flame,
while still keeping a sensual aspect.
I pinned channels of polyester satin down
the right shoulder and across the bust for
texture and visual interest. Finally, I took
a flame to the edges of the chiffon skirt to
seal and prevent fraying
